Service Desk (IT) Intern at MLB.com (View all jobs) New York, NY MAJOR PURPOSE: Provide first level help desk support for business and baseball applications. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Answer and assign incoming service desk requests via phone and email. - Provide desktop and application support to MLB, MLBAM and club employees. - Properly document all calls and problem resolutions in call tracking software (ServiceNow). - Upgrade, repair and replace computers and printers as needed. EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS: - Proficient in Windows 7 / 10, macOS and Microsoft Office 2016 - Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability and detail- orientation. - Excellent listening and verbal skills. - Positive working attitude and be a committed team player. - Working knowledge of hardware and software installation. - A basic understanding of mobile device platforms. - Candidates must be recent graduates or still in school (no more than 24 post-graduation) - School Name *
