    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Mobile Communications America is looking for an entry level HR Generalist / Recruiter for our Spartanburg, SC location. The main function of this role is to source, screen, and interview candidates for the company. The individual will also support the HR department in employee engagement, onboarding, orientation, and other strategic HR projects. The ideal candidate will be organized, a team player and have excellent communication skills. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Source resumes for open positions using the applicant tracking system and recruiting job boards. 
    • Identify, screen and present top talent to hiring managers. 
    • Ensure compliance including posting, interviewing, pre and post hire employment documentation & background verification.  
    • Schedule phone screenings and onsite interviews with candidates and hiring managers. 
    • Advise and assist hiring managers with recruitment process – including interviewing and new employee on-boarding best practices. 
    • Enhance diversity and military recruiting efforts via community outreach, relevant job fairs and networking. 
    • Coordinate new hire onboarding and engage candidates throughout the process.
    • Support employees with any general HR questions.  
    • Perform other HR administrative functions as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience   
    • 1-2 years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting process and/or talent acquisition 
    • Service first DNA and commitment to providing a positive candidate/employee experience 
    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with hiring managers, prospects, applicants, employees, colleagues, and external partners 
    • Strong skills in use of computers using MS software, web-based applications and automated HRIS systems 
    • Ability to work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision uses for reading and computer use; semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular).

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
