KBOI/KYUU, in Boise, ID, has an immediate opening for a Promotions Manager. Come check out a city that offers iconic views and a captivating culture. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced industry professional who can manage our Promotions Department. In this role, you will work directly with news, sales, and community partners alike on various promotional efforts.   

This role will be responsible for developing department strategy, news promotion strategy, community event strategy, and station branding and marketing placement. This is a department head position with a tremendous amount of duties reporting directly to the General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least two (2) years of promotion experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Premier and Photoshop is required
• Excellent verbal and written and organizational skills
• The ability to write, shoot, and edit promos, while managing deadlines and managing another producer

Required Skills Required Experience

• Bachelor degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a Biological Science, Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification by one of the following accrediting agencies preferred but not required: MLT (ASCP) or categorical, MLT (AMT), MT (AMT), MLS (ASCP) preferred.  If new graduate, certification needs to be obtained within 1 year of hire date and/or qualify under CLIA 42 CFR 493.1489 for testing personnel.
• Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to detect color and color changes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
