Become a Superhero-In-Training Wombat Security Technologies, a division of Proofpoint, is seeking a Student Co-op to join our team at our Pittsburgh, PA office located in the Strip District. Our Co-op intern positions provide the ability to work in our Customer Support team, Quality Assurance team and then our Development team. Here within Wombats Customer Support team, we take pride in delighting & empowering our customers by providing superior customer service and believe a friendly & helpful personality teamed with technical acumen are the keys to success. The Quality Assurance team takes pride in building test plans that will encompass the customers use cases of our product and allows for both manual and automated testing opportunities. Our Development team works to create customer features and products that keep Wombat a front runner in our industry. This opportunity provides for a broad exposure to multiple areas of the business to allow for a well-rounded experience in a software company. As our customer-base continues to grow and our technology solutions are constantly updated, we strive to work efficiently & effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. That means we also need to be excellent at multi-tasking and prioritizing. As an intern, you will be part of a quickly expanding team where we value: Someone who can learn independently and quickly. Demonstrate the ability to work independently or part of a team. Ensure high quality customer service and technical troubleshooting to both internal (Wombat Employees) and external customers (Administrators) Proactively research and integrate product changes into daily support process Maintain a consultative approach to customer support and program implementation Perform problem replication and file appropriate trouble tickets Work on manual and automated testing plans Assist with development and coding new features in some areas of the products Perform other duties as assigned Your Current Super-Skills Must enjoy the rewards and challenges of a large dynamic, collaborative group Adaptive skills, learns quickly, asks questions, and solves and resolves independently High energy, confident, and enthusiastic attitude Demonstrate innate customer care with strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate smart decision making with attention to detail Ability to identify resources and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction Ability to work at the Pittsburgh office location in the Strip District Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Information Systems majors are preferred Undergraduate students who can work three different rotations should apply Your Superhero Profile You have the ability and interest in working full time (40 hours/week) onsite in our Pittsburgh office. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA, preferably 3.0 or higher. This Spring Co-Op internship is scheduled to run for 13 weeks between January March 2019.
