    Desktop Support Intern Austin, TX/en-US/Q2/job/Austin-TX/Desktop-Support-Intern_REQ-615/apply Q2 is seeking energetic, innovative, out of the box thinkers with a passion for software and technology to join our 2018 Summer Intern Program. We are seeking a Desktop Support Intern to work with an application integration team as a project-manager trainee. The Intern will work closely with the Project Services team in the management of short duration, technical integration projects for financial institutions and will include technical documentation and reporting on the progress of multiple in-process projects. Includes light exposure to other business units of a software company and its customers.nbsp; The Summer Internship Program is 10-weeks long and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours.nbsp; In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, off-site activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide excellent first contact customer service to our internal customers * Troubleshoot and resolve requests for service, incidents, and events within SLA while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction * Setup new employee equipment and assist with on-boarding of new Q2 team members * Image, configure, test, and distribute workstations to employees * Coordinate escalation and resolution of complex issues with the appropriate IT teams * Help to maintain a positive and professional work environment * Assign appropriate permissions to users in Active Directory * Perform regular file archival and data migrations as necessary * Collaboratively document, develop, and contribute to Helpdesk continual service improvement * Maintain inventory of all corporate assets issued to employees * Participate in rotating on-call shifts approximately once per month * Provide support for key IT projects * Perform responsibilities within established SOX and security/compliance requirements * Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: * Pursuing a Degree in Business or Computer Science * Have exceptional work ethic, highly efficient and accurate * Have excellent attention to detail * Have ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal up front instruction and take ownership of work product; driven, diligent, and self-motivated * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work independently or as part of a team * Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus * Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel * Be trustworthy and discreet with confidential financial and employee data Posted 13 Days AgoFull timeREQ-615 is focused on empowering returns on relationships for community-centered financial institutions and their consumer and commercial account holders.
