for software and technology to join our 2018 Summer Intern Program.nbsp;
We are seekingnbsp;a Data Migrationnbsp;Intern who will work closely
with the Migration Team to learn the migration process and solve complex
business and technical problems. The Intern will have the opportunity to
contribute by writing code that will be used by the team in the data
conversion process. The Summer Internship Program is 10-weeks long and
all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40
hours.nbsp; In addition to your daily work, you will be given the
opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, off-site
activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the
Executive Leadership team at the end of the program. RESPONSIBILITIES: *
Create tools or add functionality to existing tools that support the
migration of data from flat files into SQL databases. * Work closely
with Migration and Business Analysts to learn about structured data as
it relates to the Retail and Business Banking sector. * Analyze existing
code and identify opportunities to improve quality or efficiency. * Work
with Project Managers to automate reporting for the Data Migration Team.
- Other miscellaneous projects as assigned * Responsible for ensuring
that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies
and controls are adhered to EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: * Pursuing a
Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Information Science, or
related fields. * Experience writing code with an interpreted language
(Python, Perl, Tcl, etc..). * Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and
analytical skills * Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the
ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced
environment * A relentlessly positive disposition * Strong written and
oral communication skills including communication of technical concepts
