Medical Billing Specialist R3 Mobile Management Services LLC - Austin, TX $15 - $19 an hour Rapid Radiology is a tele-radiology company providing radiology services to our clients 24/7 throughout the United State. We are looking for a Medical Billing with experience in Medicaid and Collections specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for billing insurance or patients for services rendered and for securing billing payments from customers. Serves and protects the companys community by ensuring adherence to professional standards, company policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) standards. Responsibilities: * Bill via billing software and invoice via invoicing software * Validate incoming information; find and correct patient information as necessary * Manage accounts receivables, including follow up with clients or insurance companies to collect or correct claim * Receive and post payment to customer's account * Advise and follow-up with customers on unpaid accounts Education: * Bachelors degree is related field preferred but not required, an Associates degree Qualifications: * Two years experience in ICD-10, CPT billing, posting payments, collecting receivables, and customer service * Two years experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care (submitting claims, working denials, etc) * Ability to build rapport with clients (businesses or individuals), work with insurance companies * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Skilled in working with Microsoft Office products * Ability to prioritize, handle a variety of tasks, and work independently and with a team * Demonstrate a strong work ethic We offer competitive pay, advancement opportunities and benefits including: Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Health Insurance, Vision and Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Services, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty.
