The intern will participate in: * Revising and updating online and in-person trainings. * Creating training materials that will be a part of RAINN's online training site. * Editing video and/or audio for trainings. * Conducting literature reviews. * Attending meetings as needed. * Optional opportunity to facilitate in-person training. * Optional opportunity to take live chats on the National Sexual Assault Hotline. Minimum Qualifications: * College students majoring in Social Work, Communications, English, Counseling, Mental Health, Psychology, Art, Graphic Design, Video/Audio Productions, or who are interested in the education and prevention of sexual violence are encouraged to apply. * Pass a criminal background check (administered by RAINN). * Possess exceptional communication skills (verbal and written). * Experience with at least one of the following: * Audio editing * Video editing * PowerPoint * Graphic Design * Must be comfortable discussing issues surrounding sexual violence. * Must be flexible - handling work assignments as needed (priorities, schedules, and deadlines will often change). * Must be comfortable working independently and part of a team. * Must maintain professionalism at all times. Internship Requirements: * Complete RAINN's National Sexual Assault Hotline volunteer online training program. * Complete RAINN's Safe Helpline online training program. * Meet project deadlines, at times, with minimal supervision. * Must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week for a three-month period of time. * Follow RAINN's policies and protocols.
