Role Overview The Infrastructure Service Desk is dedicated to providing seamless, 24x7 real-time support to our customers. All users at SAS are our customers, and we are committed to providing excellent customer service to our user community. Duties entail assisting with Media Management and Audit processes, customer support for restore processes, and project work including documenting/validating/updating procedures. This intern would also have the opportunity to act as Incident Coordinator, as we handle all major incidents for the Institute. Our customer base would afford the intern an opportunity to interface with multiple departments at SAS and have exposure to several different operating systems and applications. This internship is for students pursuing the Work Based Learning opportunity through Wake Technical Community College. Students will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a degree seeking role at Wake Technical Community College. Timeline This position will be located in our office in Cary, NC. We are flexible on the start date, and are targeting early 2019 for a start date. We are looking for candidates who can work 10-30 hours during the academic year, and full time hours during the summer (May-August). What are we looking for?
