Role Overview You will work in the Financial Systems Support department within Finance. We implement and support financial and accounting systems used globally. We also support reporting requirements creating reports and dashboards to present key financial metrics. Responsibilities will include: Supporting the systems administrators, monitoring support ticket queues, providing customer support for systems issues and requests. Ensuring proper documentation and approvals for access and information requests. Gathering customer requirements and user stories and creating report content using SAS analytics tools. Timeline This is a year-round, part time internship opportunity during the academic year and full time on breaks and during the summer. Part time requires a minimum of 15 hours per week. Ideally this would be two full days or three half days per week. We have a need for this internship to start as a soon as a possible. This position will be located in our office in Cary, NC. What are we looking for? University students only please, studying (Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.) It must be an accredited program. Must not be graduating prior to December 2018 Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and/or SharePoint). Technologically savvy Knowledge of accounting principles and methods What type of skills do we prefer? Previous SAS programming experience or SAS certification is a plus, but not required. Teamwork. With a dash of independence Leadership. You sit in the front row of the class GPA of 3.0 or higher. Going to class is #vital Emails. You have to know how to write them Talking.
