As a member of the SAS Advanced Analytics and Optimization Service (AAOS), you will support customer analytic needs through data discovery, analysis, solution development and implementation in operations research field. Job Responsibilities Your role will include translating business requirements into mathematical models, analyzing client data, applying technical expertise to solve analytical models and testing analytical solutions. Timeline Applications: September 2018- March 2019 Interviews: November 2018-April 2019 on a rolling basis. Internship: 10-12 weeks. Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university seeking a graduate degree in Operations Research or a related quantitative field in a US Based school Strong coding skills Strong verbal as well as written communication skills Students must not be graduating prior to the beginning of the internship, and be enrolled to return to school after the internship ends What type of skills do we prefer? Experience with Discrete Event Simulation software and methodology Experience in practical implementations of operations research projects in industry Seeking a doctoral degree in Operations Research or a related quantitative field in a US Based school Additional Information: To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
