    Account Executive - Sales Saint Louis, , Outside Sales Praise 95.1FM St. Louis/Salem Media Groupnbsp;is looking for a highly motivated sales professional to join our advertising teamnbsp;selling marketing solutions to local, small-to-medium sized businesses, churches and organizations. Our ideal candidate will be goal-oriented with a track record of exceeding monthly goals. If you are passionate about selling urban gospel radio, have a knowledge of digital advertising products, and possess excellent presentation and closing skills - then wersquo;d love to talk to you! This position requires a heavy amount of prospecting and lead-development. We pride ourselves on simplifying the marketing process for our customers while helping advertisers track the impact of their campaigns and understand their advertising options. In short, we help our customers grow their business.nbsp; In this role, you will represent both Praise 95.1FM amp; 1260AM (urban gospel format) and Salem Surround, Salem Mediarsquo;s new multi-media digital advertising agency.nbsp; You will report directly to the Local Sales Manager and will work closely with all departments. nbsp;Our Ideal Candidate: * has experience selling urban radio and digital marketing solutions * is self-motivated and results oriented * has an outgoing, resilient personality * enjoys the thrill of the hunt by bringing in new business Qualifications amp; Responsibilities: * College degree or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of sales experience preferred * Strong skillset in planning, communicating, organizing, and developing customer relationships * Successful in meeting/exceeding company directed sales goals by developing and executing a strategic sales plan * Proficient in prospecting high potential accounts, and securing at least five appointments weekly with key decision makers of qualified prospects * Capable of closing new business by driving sales process, identifying client needs, preparing amp; presenting compelling proposals, overcoming client objections and articulating the value of recommended solutions * Able to utilize company prospecting tools and follow station processes including but not limited to targeted prospecting, weekly sales reporting, projections, order entry, traffic instructions, copy writing and collections * Urban radio sales background a plus * Driverrsquo;s license and reliable transportation as this is an outside sales position and meeting clients and prospects is a must for this position * Background check required Come see how Salem is DIFFERENT and why wersquo;ve been named a ldquo;Great Place to Workrdquo; a ldquo;Best and Brightestrdquo; employer.rdquo; Salem Media Group is an equal opportunity employer.
