Position Responsibilities:

• Technician will be responsible for the care, cleaning & processing of surgical instrumentation.
• Technician will be responsible for the care, cleaning & processing of EGD & Colonoscopes.
• Technician will work closely with the OR team & the GI team.
• Technician will assist with the turn-over & set-up of operating rooms.
• Technician will transport patients as needed.

Required Skills

High school graduate or equivalent Strong customer service skills Ability to work as a team player Must be conscientious, self-motivated, organized and possess the ability to multi-task.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2 years PCT, MA, NA work experience in an ASC or hospital setting and completion of Endoscopy Technician Training

• Up to date BLS certification through American Heart Association

• Certified Endoscopy Technician preferred.
