    The FINANCIAL ANALYST works closely with the VP of Finance and other Finance Managers on a wide range of analytical projects, covering all facets of the organization’s operations, including two hospitals, numerous clinics, and a large physician group practice.  Strong people skills are essential in order to effectively communicate and engage with clinical personnel on a regular basis.  This position requires an excellent working knowledge of all Allscripts EPSi modules or comparable software applications in order to perform various financial and operational analyses.       

    Required Skills

    • The ability to analyze financial data, develop and discuss financial, operational, and clinical metrics with both management and clinical department heads.  
    • Ability to create dashboards and charts on the EPSi portals.  
    • Must be highly-organized, have the ability to multi-task at all times and generally work autonomously with minimal direction.  
    • Strong communication and computer skills.
    • Working knowledge of Allscripts, EPSi application is a plus

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis or major in Accounting.
    • A minimum two (2) years progressive work experience in private industry is required.
    • Strong communication and computer skills required.
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS Windows and Office Suite required.

     

    PREFERRED:

    • CPA certification with 2-3 years major public accounting work experience is desirable, but not required.
    • Previous experience as a business analyst or senior accountant at a medium to large company is desirable.
    • Hospital or healthcare work experience preferred.
