WKRC-TV Cincinnati, Ohio’s news Leader, is looking for an experienced and talented Anchor to join our top-rated news team. The person we are seeking to join our on-air team will bring a unique combination of journalistic and broadcasting skills, along with the ability to connect to our audience via interaction on social media.
At least five years of professional-level experience as a television news anchor/reporter is required. Candidates must have a college degree in Journalism/Mass Communications or related field of study and proven knowledge and experience working with current media creation tools and contemporary newsroom systems. Strong writing and copy-editing skills will be needed and you must be able to work under deadline pressures. A working knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter will be needed and you must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. A working knowledge of Avid and newsroom systems would be a big plus.
