About Tennis Channel Internships The Tennis Channel's Internship Program offers unpaid academic credit only. Our internships are during entire semesters not just breaks/vacations. TENNIS CHANNEL RESEARCH INTERNSHIP Tennis Channel Research offers a very successful summer internship during which interns are taught valuable skills in media research, while directly interfacing with many of the other departments including Programming, Production, Marketing, and Sales. It is particularly valuable if you are considering a career involving media. Requirements ( All must be met ) : Must be currently attending an accredited institution and registered for college credits at this institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed Must be in good academic standing, as defined by the academic institution Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of acceptance into the program Minimum commitment: 2 full days of work per week (10 - 20 hours) Accessible transportation and weekend availability Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : Assist in building analyses, reports and PowerPoint sales presentations to support programming, scheduling, tennis industry relations and other areas Aid in analysis and storytelling through the use of qualitative and quantitative data gathered using Nielsen, Ipsos, Rentrak/comScore, Gfk MRI and other data sources Undertake projects to keep management informed of trends in audience behavior for Tennis Channel, Tennis.com, Tennis Magazine and competitors Retrieve, interpret and utilize audience data and consumer behavior for use in ad sales presentations and reports Qualifications : Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Power point Experience with statistics is a plus but not required Media interest is a plus but not required Attention to detail when gathering data This is NOT for someone looking to exercise advanced data analytic skills HOW TO APPLY : Please apply at Tennis Channel Careers ( https://tennischannel-careers.silkroad.com/ ).
