SUMMARY: Performs troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of power generation equipment in accordance with project requirements. Experience preferred with ISO CAT and CAT generators all models. Diagnoses generators, fuel storage and ISO CAT system malfunctions and service interruptions. Performs routine maintenance to ensure reliability of the generator when needed. Work in a multi craft environment. Other duties as required.

The technicians are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing generator and Power generation equipment, electrical systems and fuel systems in their assigned area while maintaining an acceptable level of productivity and communicating with the customers.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and multi meters.
• Must have experience how to diagnose and repair ISO CAT and CAT generators all models.
• Must have pride in the work they perform
• Must be dependable and work well with others.
• Must be able to use electronic devices such as computers, tablets.
• Must have diesel, electrical, and power generation experience.
• Ability to research parts and materials
• Qualified and experienced in Power Generation and Diesel generators
• Qualified and experienced with ISO CAT (Intelligent Switchgear Organization) 
• Performing recurring maintenance and seasonal overhaul on systems and components.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions and repairing or replacing failed components.
• Simplex fuel system experience and knowledge
• Ensuring EPA and OSHA compliance with safety and environmental regulations for fuels, refrigerants and hazardous materials. 
• Must be able to operate a vehicle equipped with a standard transmission.
• Must have good verbal and writing skills; be familiar with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Candidates must be physically able and willing to work long hours to meet mission and contract requirements.
• Must be able to pass AMIC employment and pre-deployment qualification requirements to include medical, drug testing and background checks, etc.
• Must be willing and able to work in austere conditions.

TRAVEL: 100%, Overseas assignment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: (or equivalent) 

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in assigned area.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in PowerPro and Generator electrical systems operation, maintenance and repair.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Certified Journeyman Electrician preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and be able to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a passport.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Must have and maintain an United State Secret Clearance.
