WE'RE HIRING FOR A PRN CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE!

ALPHA BRIDGE HOME HEALTH WITH OPIS SENIOR SERVICES GROUP IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A HOME HEALTH AIDE TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN THE HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY AREA - PRN SHIFT. 

The Certified Home Health Aide performs various customer care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of customers. His/her function may not exceed Standards of Practice as accorded by certification. Provide supportive and personal services for the customers with consideration of dignity and privacy. Provide personal care and hygiene to home health customers.

CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST BE A CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE WITH PROOF OF CERTIFICATION - AT LEAST 75HRS OR MUST BE A FL CERTIFIED CNA.
• A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR FULL-TIME EXPERIENCE IN DIRECT CUSTOMER IN AN INSTITUTIONAL SETTING (HOSPITAL OR NURSING FACILITY) OR ONE YEAR FULL-TIME EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS IN DIRECT CLIENT CARE IN AN AGENCY SETTING.
• Must maintain reliable transportation while traveling to visit our customers.
• Graduate of an accredited High School or equivalent preferred.

CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Follow the instructions of the professional nurse/therapist in providing care.
• Provide physical assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Perform and record accurate measurements (i.e. vital signs, or intake/output as instructed in the care plans).
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
• Report customer complaints to the RN.
