KAEF/KBVU NORTH COAST NEWS is looking for an energetic, personable Anchor/Reporter to report for our 6:00 p.m. newscast and anchor our 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts on the breathtaking Northern California coast. In this role, you will be expected to enterprise meaningful stories, and tell them in a creative way. The right candidate should be self-motivated, have strong journalism skills on multiple digital platforms, and have a true passion for great visual storytelling. We may be a small market, but we have big market expectations, and our product reflects that. 

SKILLS:

• Considerable live shot experience
• Be a strong writer
• Someone with sharp wit
• The ability to work well with others
• A self-starter and who can generate his or her own story ideas on a daily basis
• The ability to demonstrate enterprise reporting and creativity in story-telling
• Exemplary communication skills
• Previous experience working in a team environment is a must

You will be required to produce daily content on a variety of platforms, including the internet and social networks, along with performing other duties as assigned by the news managers. The ability to work under deadline and on a flexible schedule that will include evenings and/or weekends is required.
