    KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible to assist AP Manager as directed.

    Responsible to oversee preparation of accounts payable invoices for entry into accounting system

    1. Matching of invoices to receiver (purchase order and packing slip)
    2. Verifying both quantity received and price; any discrepancies must have approval of appropriate materials manager.
    3. All packing slips must be signed and dated.

    Responsible to ensure that all invoices received are placed in the accounting system.

    Responsible to ensure that all invoices are paid on a timely basis.

    Responsible to review and follow-up on vendor statements and research and reconcile vendor issues.

    Responsible to verify patient refund checks.

    Responsible to maintain vendor files.

    Responsible to prepare invoices to other entities as requested by BOM or Administrator.

    Responsible to comply with all USPI internal control practices and policies.

    Follows regulations and guidelines protecting the confidentiality of health related information.

    Assists with other responsibilities of center as deemed necessary by management.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    1. Associates degree preferred or three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    2. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    3. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

    • Ability to handle accommodating a large number of guests at one time, changes in work schedule and job assignments.
    • Ability to work with others in a friendly, positive manner.
    • Able to maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.
    • Able to perform other duties as required. Must be Serv Safe Certified
    • Must be able to lift 30 pounds with or without 2 person lift. 30+ pounds require a 2 person lift.
    • Must take Start Fresh training, as well as implement all safety aspects of Start Fresh training
    • Must be able to work and tolerate temperatures ranging from 0 to 120 degrees
