WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH-TV in Syracuse, NY has an exciting opportunity for a full-time NEWS ANCHOR / MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST (MMJ)!
This position includes daily anchoring duties as well as live reporting and MMJ assignments. You will be required to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet and social networks, along with performing other duties as assigned. The ability to work under deadlines and on a flexible schedule, that will include evenings and/or weekends, is required. The ideal candidate should have anchoring and live shot experience. We're looking for someone with sharp news judgment, excellent technical skills and the ability to work well independently. You must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record. This position calls for a fully engaged anchor who comes in every day with enterprise story ideas and who is ready to jump in and write scripts, post content to our multiple digital platforms, and help out wherever needed.
