    Job Description

    As part of the Brand & Communications team, the Content Marketing Manager is responsible for Snow’s global content program. With the help of internal stakeholders and subject matter experts, you will develop content that builds our brand, attracts an audience, converts prospects and engages customers. You will oversee editorial activity and quality, owning a comprehensive calendar, guidelines and channel development for owned content. You have impeccable writing and editing skills, and a background in journalism is a plus. You are also comfortable with technical topics and excited to help us build a new category. This is a highly visible position that will involve close collaboration with stakeholders in Demand Generation, Product Marketing and Management, Customer Success and Sales around the world.  

    Responsibilities may include: 

    PROGRAM STRATEGY

    • Partner with the Director of Brand & Communications and other marketing leaders to develop a cohesive content strategy that aligns to larger awareness, preference and pipeline goals 
    • Develop processes that support colleagues in Demand Generation, Communications, Digital and Product Marketing, helping all of our teams become more effective and efficient
    • Enable the broader marketing team to develop content that is aligned to our brand platform, tone and voice
    • Define key metrics and continuously measure the impact of the content program

     EDITORIAL MANAGEMENT

    • Develop a deep understanding of our audience to align content with key topics and trends
    • Create and maintain the corporate editorial calendar, coordinating editorial direction and topics with product launches, demand campaigns and media opportunities
    • Provide oversight and copyediting to ensure all content meets high brand and quality standards
    • Re-launch our corporate blog, turning it into a relevant industry publication and the primary thought leadership hub for Snow

    CONTENT CREATION & COORDINATION

    • Keep a consistent content engine running and in sync across the marketing organization, creating content yourself as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders and external resources to achieve scale
    • Manage freelance writers and design resources as needed
    • Support organic social media channels, with a focus on growing an engaged community and effective distribution channel

    QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Minimum of 5 years of previous content experience, gained in B2B technology marketing, PR or journalism

    • Exceptional content creation and copyediting skills

    • A clear and concise writing style

    • Strong organizational and analytic skills 

    • Understanding of online marketing and digital best practices

    • A strategic thinker who is also an enthusiastic practitioner 

    • Highly collaborative and a team player, always looking for the win-win opportunity

    • Comfortable managing a global program that spans multiple regions and time zones 

    • Experience with Drupal, Google Analytics, Marketo and Hootsuite are a plus
