With our diverse publishing lines, our team members get to work on a wide variety of projects. And we move quickly, so the learning and training are immersive and fun. Sourcebooks interns will have the opportunity to be part of our interconnected departments on a rotational basis: * Editorial: Acquisitions * Editorial: Packaging * Production Editorial (project management, copyediting, proofreading) * Production Design (file management, ebook creation, page layout, design) * Manufacturing Purchasing * Accounting, Administration, and Contracts * Office of the Publisher * Marketing * Sales * Ecommerce * Digital Marketing Ideal candidates for Sourcebooks interns will: * Be available to work 2025 hours per week in Naperville, IL. * Be a selfstarter. Exhibiting initiative, leadership, with a strong desire to continually grow in the book business. * Play well with others. Seriously, were a hardworking team who also happen to be pretty nice. * Juggle and coordinate. We thrive with multitaskers who are detailoriented, organized, and can keep short and longterm schedules while following through on deadlines. * Love books. This is a must. * Be currently enrolled in college or recent college graduate.
