Responsibilities: As a Front-End Software Engineer Intern you will be responsible for Building innovative solutions that enables rapid development. You will get to work with a super smart bunch of folks who are doing state of the art development work (native mobile, front-end and back-end) in areas of machine learning, data analytics, and event correlations across silos to build best-in-class business analytics software. You will be interacting with product management and customers to understand detailed requirements. You will also work with other engineering teams across Splunk to design and build high-performance solutions. * You will collaborate across the engineering, product, and business teams to design and build new features. * You will write intuitive, high-performance, reusable frontend code using test-driven development. * We will encourage you to live innovation by promoting and soliciting ideas within project teams Requirements: * Comfortable with ES6, React, SASS/CSS, Webpack (or equivalents in other frontend ecosystem) * Familiarity with RESTful APIs, frontend testing frameworks (such as jest, mocha, etc) * Creative thinker and sense in product design and user experience. * You enjoy working well with others in a fast-paced environment * You enjoy working within an agile environment * Strong communication skills, verbal and written Education: * Actively pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, and strong record of academic achievement What We Offer You: * The opportunity to work with a set of extraordinarily talented and dedicated peers, all the way from engineering and QA to product management and customer support.
