We are currently seeking Mechanical Design Interns. Internship opening: SEGs Mechanical Design Branch Responsibilities will include: Contribute to modeling and simulation activities in support of various missile defense initiatives Developing and using cutting-edge tools and techniques to model missile dynamics, debris fields, and other phenomenology Characterization of Missile System Performance and Phenomenology Documenting and presenting work to group members, management, and customers Collaborating with both Mechanical/Aerospace Engineers and Software Engineers to develop and improve automation and simulation tools Required Skills Minimum skills needed: All candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university having completed their sophomore year. Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills and must be maintaining a 3.2 grade point average or higher. Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance Experience with 3D CAD; MATLAB and Python preferred Ability to work in small teams or groups Ability to work independently with help as needed Company Overview: Systems Engineering Group, Inc.
