    Staff Accountant II, Transfer Pricing Thomson Reuters Accounting & Finance 9/14/2018 11:15:26 AM Eagan, MN United States of America Job Description The Transfer Pricing Staff Accountant II owns much of the behind the scenes transfer pricing setup, which is critical to ensuring that proper transfer pricing relationships with appropriate tax entries are recorded in SAP for given legal entities. This role reports to the Transfer Pricing Manager. The key areas of responsibility are: * Collaborating with transfer pricing team members as well as individuals from other cross-functional teams to understand and implement the necessary transfer pricing setup required * Providing supporting transfer pricing financial information to tax business partners in order to defend audit inquiries and other general transfer pricing questions * Ensure SOX Compliance with transfer pricing processes, specifically around OOXP system security Accountabilities * Accountable for all required master data set-up necessary within SAP to accommodate transfer pricing output files from the OneSource application * Post OOXP data into SAP via SAP Transfer Pricing Dashboard and troubleshoot posting errors * Prepare monthly journal entries in a timely manner and ensure the entries are appropriate and accurate * Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of OneSource Transfer Pricing (OOXP) P&L data to SAP and SASFM * Manage the publication of quarterly financial data captured within the OneSource application * Provide business support for OneSource team, Tax, Controllership, and Finance on TRGR asset ownership, general transfer pricing inquiries and provide support for annual tax filings and audit queries. * Execute quarterly regression tests for the SAP Transfer Pricing Dashboard * Validate monthly invoicing of transfer pricing fees within SAP * Administrator of Accounting and Finance security access to OneSource application, ensuring compliance with SOX controls Key Deliverables * Ensure that all SAP master data, cross reference tables and relationships are established in SAP as well as troubleshoot and resolve system issues in order to deliver a smooth month-end close process * Proactively identify issues with the transfer pricing dashboard process and work with necessary teams to effectively and efficiently resolve the issues * Prepare and distribute financial reporting and associated supplemental schedules on a quarterly basis or as needed in a timely manner to help support statutory audit inquiries * Behaviors align with Thomson Reuters Values Skills and Experience * Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands for time and resources to successfully meet project and schedule deadlines * Strong analytical skills combined with a strong attention to detail and the ability to present information in a usable format to a diverse audience * Strong collaborator in a team environment * Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams * SAP, BEx and SASFM knowledge; Alteryx and One Source Operational Transfer Pricing preferred * Bachelors Degree in Business (Accounting or Finance preferred) with 3+ years experience in an Accounting or Finance role At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
