    Cyber Security Intern - Security Automation Thomson Reuters Exception 9/8/2018 11:12:57 PM Hoboken, NJ United States of America Job Description This role sits within our Financial & Risk (F&R) business. On January 30, 2018, Thomson Reuters announced that it signed a definitive agreement to enter into a strategic partnership with private equity funds managed by Blackstone related to the company's F&R business. As part of the transaction, Thomson Reuters has agreed to sell a 55% majority stake in Financial & Risk and will retain a 45% interest in the business. Thomson Reuters will maintain full ownership of its Legal, Tax & Accounting and the Reuters News businesses. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of the year and is subject to specified regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. When the transaction closes, this role will be included in the new F&R entity. This new facility will be home to a number of critical cyber security disciplines, designed to improve the overall security posture of F&R including its assets, data and operations. Be part of an exciting, fast-paced environment that will help F&R strengthen its position. The Security Services Software Engineering team is responsible for building software products that supports the Thomson Reuters Information Security organization spanning Identity, Incident Response, Cyber Intelligence, DLP, and Compliance & Audit functions. The intern will be fully integrated into our teams Agile methodology, working side by side with other software engineers aligned to our teams prioritized backlog. Below are notable opportunities the candidate could work on depending on the start date and length of the internship: * Build integrations between our Security Automation & Orchestration (SA&O) platform and F&R-wide enterprise platform APIs to enable the codification of security processes. * Feature enhancements to our custom employee-facing registration & management portal for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA). * Integrate our ISRM vendor risk management platform with our enterprise procurement platform to streamline the vendor risk evaluation process. * Build out improved monitoring, alerting, and data visualization across our product portfolio leveraging open source and public cloud tools.
