-Posting Job Description -Duties: ABOUT OUR GROUP: The Digital Video
news team produces, shoots and edits video for all CNN Digital
platforms, including desktop, mobile and social. We work closely with
correspondents and producers around the globe to cover breaking news and
the issues that matter to our audience. WHAT PART WILL YOU PLAY? Interns
will have the opportunity to assist producers on local shoots, edit
digital videos using our templates and in-house footage, and pitch their
own stories to produce from start to finish. Other duties may include
transcribing field interviews, logging video, researching and searching
archive footage. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: The ideal candidate is enrolled
as a junior or senior and has at least a 3.0 GPA. He or she should have
a strong interest in digital media and journalism. They should be
comfortable shooting with high-end DSLRs like the Canon 5D, C300 or Sony
A7 II, and editing in Premiere. They should have strong editorial
judgment and be avid news consumers. Qualifications: Program dates are
September 10th to December 7th. Interns are paid at least minimum wage
($13/hour), can work up to 20 hours/week, and relocation is not
provided. Requirements: - Must be currently enrolled or within 6 months
post-graduation. Applicants should be junior status or higher. - Must be
eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship - All international
