The Tax Intern will interact and coordinate with various operating groups within HBO, providing exposure to HBOs overall business and contribute to tax savings. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Assist in Federal, State and International tax compliance -Assist in compiling and analyzing tax data/tax credit support in preparation for audits -Assist with ad hoc projects related to a variety of tax issuesREQUIREMENTS: -Finance, Accounting or Business background -Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Excel -Must possess good communication, presentation and analytical skills -Must be able to work 15 hours a week -Must be a rising Junior or Senior -Accounting or Tax compliance experience is a plus. The Internship Programs are designed to offer undergraduate and select graduate students the opportunity to learn how we provide programming for the cable industry and distribute entertainment content around the world.
