We're always on the lookout for energetic, creative people to join our team. -Posting Job Description -DC Comics seeks an Editorial Administration Intern - Summer 2018 for the Editorial Strategy & Administration department. Position will gain insight and knowledge of the Comic Book industry through practical experience and exposure. This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers related to Library inventory management, Editorial Scheduling, Editorial Payments Talent Relations, and Content Strategy. What part will you play? -Assist Library staff in the organization and regular maintenance of library assets which include rare and old comic books and collectibles. Duties include scanning, filing, and character/story research. -Assist Administrative teams with database updates for title management, scheduling, and contact information among others. -Assist Talent Relations team with regular mailings of material to creators and overall support. -Help maintain the accuracy of metadata for projects (books, periodicals and digital items) in company databases through regular checks and updates. -Performs other related duties and projects as assigned. What do we require from you? -High School diploma required. -Candidate must be currently enrolled in a college or university. -Previous experience in an office or library preferred. -Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows required. PC knowledge preferred. -Excellent verbal and writing skills, organizational and interpersonal skills required. -Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and handle multiple tasks. -Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines. -Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance and filing procedures as well as standard report and letter formats preferred. -Familiarity with comic books, comic book history and DC characters a plus. -Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. -* -The Warner Bros.
