    Posting Job Title -HBO 2018 Fall Intern: Promotion Planning & Scheduling -Time Warner Division -HBO -Industry -Cable/Broadcast Television Networks Film Production and Distribution Television Program Production and Distribution -Area of Interest -Internship/Trainee -Location -United States - New York - New York -Requisition # -165137BR -Position Type -Intern -Posting Job Description -OVERALL SUMMARY: Located in New York and reporting to the Manager, Promotion Planning & Scheduling, this intern will work on the Promotion Planning & Scheduling teams responsible for strategic placement of promotional content across HBO and Cinemax. H/She will be a key contributor in the development of campaigns for HBO and Cinemax by assisting the Planning Team in the following areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Ratings and data collection, trending and reporting to inform the planning process and help standardize new outputs across all platforms -Assist in the maintenance of platform campaign documents used to set benchmarks for future campaigns -Weekly reporting for tracking and analyzing HBO and Cinemax promotional campaigns -Assist in linear and non-linear post campaign analysis -Curate weekly competitive highlights flagging industry trends and programming announcements -Screen promotional assets to inform pre-roll recommendations -Ad-hoc projects for both internal and collaborative needs REQUIREMENTS: -Solid analytical background with experience working in Excel and Google Sheets. -Strong passion for television content and pop culture. -Awareness of the competitive landscape. -Previous internship experience in Promotional Planning or Research a plus. -Must be able to work 15 hours/ week in New York City -Must be rising junior or senior in college The Internship Programs are designed to offer undergraduate and select graduate students the opportunity to learn how we provide programming for the cable industry and distribute entertainment content around the world. The programs will include Orientation, Project HBO, Speaker Series, Social Activities, Learning and Development Workshops, a Farewell Lunch, and more.
