We're looking for a vulnerability intelligence intern to join our team in Austin, TX for the Spring 2018 semester. This role is responsible for improving and creating a tool to support Trend Micro's vulnerability intelligence efforts. The vulnerability intelligence capability leverages globally-distributed vulnerability research and threat sensors to deliver actionable guidance to the product teams inside Trend Micro. The intern role will improve a tool to automate vulnerability discovery and analysis. Optionally, the role can involve the publication of relevant content as blogs, white papers, or presentations. Duties & Responsibilities The intern will be responsible for improving a tool to automate vulnerability discovery and analysis. The role requires collaboration with vulnerability analysts and reverse engineers as well as integration with a DevOps philosophy that includes deploying code rapidly, frequently, reliably, and securely. "Infrastructure as code" is an organization-wide goal and management is committed to realizing it.
