KSNV HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A TEMPORARY WRITER.

The candidate will be responsible for writing news stories of our (morning, evening, or weekend) newscasts. This position will also work closely with the Executive Producer, Director, and Assignment Desk on the newscast and its content.  

The ideal candidate will have solid news judgment and be a compelling and accurate writer.

Required Skills

The candidate must have at least 2 years of previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to execute news strategies and goals in daily newscasts. Flexibility and on-the-spot problems solving abilities are a must. Journalism degree preferred.
