We are seeking an energetic Hospital Representative with outstanding customer service skills to represent our company and interface in person with patients and staff, providing TV and telephone service at various hospitals in Brooklyn. Successful candidates should feel comfortable working in a patient care environment and combine an outstanding work ethic with a passion for servicing patients by delivering high-end quality products and services. As a representative you will: * Engage with and assist patients throughout the hospital, helping them utilize their tv and phones * Perform basic troubleshooting and work with our support group to resolve any technical issues affecting service to the patients * Be able to lift 25 lbs and climb a 6-foot ladder * Collect payment for television and phone services as required * Handle basic bookkeeping including keeping records of payments, credits, and notes * Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships with patients and staff Required Criteria * Exceptional customer service and communication skills * Excellent team player * Professional attitude and manner * Desire to walk/spend time on your feet for sustained periods of time * Basic computer skills * High school diploma or equivalent * Able to pass background check * Submit to an annual flu shot and necessary medical requirements Hours of Operation: Available Hospitals: Downstate, Brooklyn, Kings County and Maimonides Shift: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Must be able to work two/three days during the week, one weekend day required. 20 hours per week.
