WHAT IS THE JOB :
STAFF PRODUCT MANAGER - ADS TARGETING & MODELING, SAN FRANCISCO, CA. THIS ROLE FOCUSES ON THE ADS TARGETING & MODELING PRODUCTS, WHICH ENCOMPASSES MANY AREAS OF THE TWITTER ADS REVENUE BUSINESS SUCH AS TARGETING, IDENTITY, AND BRAND SAFETY. YOU’LL WORK CLOSELY WITH ENGINEERING MANAGERS, TECHNICAL LEADS, AND MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEERS IN ADDITION TO OTHER PRODUCT MANAGERS AND LEADERSHIP.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :
IN AN AVERAGE WEEK, YOU’LL BE COLLABORATING WITH ENGINEERING MANAGERS, TECHNICAL LEADS, PRODUCT MANAGERS AND STAKEHOLDERS ACROSS MANY TEAMS.
OWN AND DELIVER SUCCESS ON TWITTER’S ADS TARGETING MODELING SYSTEMS TO CREATE A COMPETITIVE AND ACCURATE ADS BIDDING ENVIRONMENT
OWN TWITTER’S BRAND SAFETY MODELING EFFORTS TO PROTECT OUR ADVERTISERS BY MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR ADVERTISING MESSAGES
OWN TWITTER’S IDENTITY MODELING AND BRIDGING EFFORTS TO PROVIDE MAXIMAL VALUE TO ADVERTISERS WHILE PROTECTING AND RESPECTING USERS’ INTERESTS
DEEPLY UNDERSTAND THE NEEDS OF INTERNAL TEAMS TO DRIVE HIGH-QUALITY, RAPID PLATFORM ENHANCEMENTS
ORCHESTRATE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WORK OUTSIDE OF YOUR CORE EPDR TEAM, WHEN NECESSARY, BY ACHIEVING CROSS-FUNCTIONAL BUY-IN.
SYNTHESIZE INSIGHTS FROM CUSTOMERS, CUSTOMER MEETINGS, USAGE DATA, AND FEEDBACK TO PRIORITIZE IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW FEATURE IDEAS THAT WILL DELIVER BUSINESS OBJECTIVES AND CUSTOMER BENEFITS.
DEVELOP METHODS FOR ASSESSING PRODUCT AND PROJECT SUCCESS, AND PROCESSES TO INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF IT.
Qualifications
5+ YEARS PRODUCT MANAGEMENT OR PRODUCT DESIGN EXPERIENCE
COMPUTER SCIENCE OR ENGINEERING BACKGROUND PREFERRED
EXPERIENCE WORKING ON AD PRODUCTS OR IDENTITY SYSTEMS
EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MACHINE LEARNING CONCEPTS AND TOOLS
STRONG ANALYTICAL ABILITY WITH BIAS TO MAKE DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS
ABILITY TO THINK STRATEGICALLY AND CRAFT A COMPELLING PRODUCT VISION AND ROADMAP
SCRAPPY, “IMPACT-FOCUSED” ATTITUDE
EXPERIENCE DRIVING IMPACT THROUGH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
