    Job Description

    • Represent accounting in the Hyperion EPM Cloud application, including FCC, EDM, Reporting cubes. Serve as a functional system admin and be the Accounting specialist with Hyperion EPM application for the accounting team. This includes system administration and operations support of EPM suite of which expertise is required in Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Reporting, security maintenance, data cube design / maintenance, and issue analysis raised by end users and proactively identifying enhancement opportunities to the Hyperion suite as implemented.
    • Drive and lead any assigned projects and enhancements for the accounting team; document as-is and to be process; prepare process flow, provide business analysis related to technology projects (implementations, upgrades/enhancements, product change, ongoing maintenance, etc.) and assist in defining and communicating business requirements to cross functional teams.
    • Find opportunities for automation and transformation by assisting and training users to design or/and develop effective reports addressing internal and external reporting and using any tools (eg. Smart View) for ad-hoc reporting needs.
    • Perform month-end closing tasks and support the business during the close cycle in any accounting systems. Act as back-up support for other R2R & OTC system related close tasks.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy with Twitter accounting systems. Develops and implements the vital accounting operational controls. Maintain and ensure the timely and accurate generation of all reporting, ensuring consistency and standardization among the various types of reports and databases.
    • Coordinate with accounting functions and systems to ensure thorough and accurate financials that follow GAAP and meet all external compliance requirements.
    • Ability to break down business/accounting processes into logic and functional requirements. Basic understanding of logic statements and can pick up designing in automation tools (e.g.Alteryx) given training.
    • Support any accounting related aspects of Accounting related systems such as Oracle, CloudIO, Account Reconciliation Cloud Manager (ARCS).
    • Monitor and track systems bugs and issues arise from Accounting. Assist end users in resolving them in a timely manner.
    • Create UAT scripts for end users. Support Accounting team in testing; drive and perform user acceptance testing on new and changed functionality, tracking enhancements, issues and pain-points to improve accounting & finance operational processes.
    • Coordinate with the IT team to perform functional administrative tasks to test new patches and upgrades, monitoring and identify performance issues. Support end user UAT on any system changes and enhancements, including but not limited to EPM.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of relevant experience and a BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or other closely related field. Past experience in different areas of accounting/finance preferred.
    • 3+ years of proven track record in Hyperion EPM Administration. Experience with EPM Cloud.
    • Solid understanding of SQL queries and table structures.
    • Demonstrable experience with Hyperion/EPM creation of data forms, data grids, process management, task workflows, journal entry, reporting, smart view and consolidation.
    • Strong finance functional expertise, business process knowledge, and understanding of GAAP and SOX 404 compliance.
    • Effective communication skills - including the capability to listen to the needs of others, research and comprehend sophisticated matters, eloquent issues, and present findings as well as recommendations in both oral and written presentations.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve operational accounting process and system issues.
    • Proven project management skills and an ability to work well with all levels of an organization.
    • Superb attention to detail and able to deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
    • Ability to build and manage relationships with key partners.

    • Experience with Oracle ERP, CloudIO, ARCS, Alteryx, and Tableau.
    • Weekend and off-hours work sometimes required, particularly around month-end closing. Some travel may be required.
