Job Description
BACKGROUND:
Twitter can be fun, noisy, informative and a place for rich dialogue. Twitter can also feel and be unhealthy. It’s too often that people are afraid to participate in conversations because they fear abuse and unhealthy interactions. Additionally, it is difficult for people to determine which accounts are trustworthy and what content is good. These challenges are the basis for why Health has been the top initiative for Twitter. When we add in the current national and global conversation, with the COVID pandemic, civil unrest spawning from George Floyd and the BLM protests, and the discourse around the upcoming US Elections, we know that making the Twitterverse healthier is not only a top initiative, but it is imperative.

Develop and drive new strategies along with product managers, design leadership, research and data science
Design, prototype, and develop elegant solutions focused on improving the health of the platform
Conceive innovative concepts, prototype and iterate to push the boundaries of user interface design and the health space
Deep product and systems thinker who loves untangling complex problems and is able to think about global implications and cultural nuances
Strong ability and passion on delivering universal designs that can scale not just across platforms but also internationally and across user types.
Identify user needs, sketch solutions with prototypes, test ideas with our research team, and refine designs with data and customer feedback.
Collaborate with other designers to ensure all features being developed take health into consideration.
Document detailed interaction models and UI specifications.
Collaborate with other designers to maintain design consistency and coherence across the features on Twitter app and website.
