Job Description
We are responsible for providing a secure, reliable, and performant CI service that allows Twitter engineers to build and validate their product changes. More broadly, Engineering Effectiveness helps engineers iterate faster and ship high-quality products with satisfying ease.
What you'll do
Redesign Twitter’s CI systems to run on hybrid cloud
Overhaul CI tooling, metrics pipelines, and observability
Work with customers to understand and satisfy their unique requirements
This is not an operations position - we are dedicated to building automated solutions that enable self-service and self-support, leading to a more curated Twitter developer experience
Qualifications

You are passionate about users and can apply that passion to developer productivity
You are happy to jump in and help teammates or solve issues in unfamiliar areas
You have a strong Python, Go, Scala, or Java experience required and fluency in at least one other language preferred
You have a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
You have a track record of crafting and implementing complex software services
Preferred Requirements
3+ years of industry experience with large-scale distributed systems
Strong previous experience working with GCP and/or AWS
Knowledgeable about Jenkins configuration and usage
Comfortable working in Linux-centric environments
