    Job Description

    Who We Are 

    Our team collaborates with the Customers Org (Sales) to create impactful learning experiences that inspire individuals and teams to go beyond - both on a regional and a global level. We are looking for an experienced, strategic and passionate learning leader to join the Global Customers Learning team representing the needs and voice of the Americas regions to help drive revenue and growth and support Twitter’s business objectives.   

     

    What You’ll Do

    Positioned in the US, this position will be working with a diverse set of learners across the Americas as well as our Emerging Business and Small, Medium Business teams. You’ll need to have a strategic mindset towards learning and organizational development interventions for leaders and teammates.  In addition, you will need to be able to build and deliver upon creative global learning experiences that support the Customers Org (sales / revenue generation team) as a whole. Here are a few examples:  

    Regional

    • Serve as the voice for the US, CAN, and LATAM regions on learning needs, problems and opportunities.  Meet frequently with regional stakeholders to ensure all learning needs are captured and interventions are in place.  Conduct frequent needs assessments across the regions.  Ensure all learning programs are customized (where applicable) to the US, CAN, and LATAM regions.    

    • Develop and implement learning interventions that upskill Tweeps in the areas of sales professional development, Customers Org mandatory programs, product, system and tools related education, interpersonal (soft skills) and leadership development.

    • Serve as an internal consultant, advisor and coach to leadership to build and execute upon a learning and growth culture.  Play a key role in designing and participating in organizational development experiences.

    • Have strong analytical skills and provides insights, analysis on learning experiences and organizational development interventions and make recommendations for individual and team improvement and enhancement.

    • Implement regional learning dashboards with insights.  Provide regular reporting on Tweep learning completions and course effectiveness to help Tweeps fulfill their role responsibilities.  Oversee and manage data with our LMS and support leadership with ongoing reports for efficiency and effectiveness.

     

    Global

    • Serve as the conduit between Marketing and the Experience (engineering and product) team to build and execute on learning strategies to ensure the US, CAN, and LATAM regions are included in a timely manner on all communications with product changes and enhancements. 

    • Work with GCL and the Customers Org on foundational flagship global programs that will touch all Tweeps.  Some examples include:  New hire education, role specific learning journeys, and leadership development strategies.  

    • Lead cross-functional global projects to support all of the Customers Org.  Some examples include:  CAMily and the Performance Advertising Learning Strategy.

    • Serve on the GCL leadership team to help continue to build and execute upon a long-term learning strategy for all of the Customers Org (TCS, GSO, SMB, DES, MoPub, and GCP).     

    • Co-design and implement a global course calendar that supports a global and cross-functional audience.

     

    Who You Are

    As a member of the GCL Leadership team, you will help shape and define what great learning experiences are for the Customers Org. To accomplish this, you will need a strong blend of adult learning theory, organizational development experience coupled with being an excellent relationship builder and connector. 

      

    If this sounds like it might be you, you probably have:

    • Proficient in Office Applications (e.g. Google Suite, Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Keynote).  Awareness in Learning Authoring Software (e.g. Articulate Rise/Storyline, Captivate) is a plus.  

    • An understanding of adult learning principles and theories.  Creativity and innovation in program design and delivery.

    • Experience using a consulting approach to identify and build effective learning solutions.

    • Experience working on a global team and are very flexible in accommodating all different time zones. 

    • Exceptional relationship building skills and can build and nurture trust quickly.  Proven creative problem solving skills - both on a regional and global level.  

    • Experience working in sales or a sales environment.

    • Experience working across organizations, influencing and collaborating with others successfully to implement programs. 

    • Can highly influence and lead cross-functional teams.

    • The ability to construct insights and tell a compelling story to support a set of data.

    • Strong project management skills and proven experience to manage projects from inception and launch to follow up.  

    • The ability to deal with ambiguity and quick changing project goals and priorities.  If you need ownership and explicit role clarity, this is not the role for you.

    • A love for teamwork and collaboration, balanced with an ability to be self-directed when required.

    • Clear and effective communication skills in both written and interpersonal formats.

    • Knowledge in designing communication plans to support new learning program launches and ongoing updates.

    • Advantage: proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese.

    • Willingness to travel ~30% of the time post COVID.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree (or above) in Instructional Design, Psychology, Communications or Education.

    • 6-8 years designing and delivering successful learning experiences specifically for sales and marketing organizations.  

    • Former sales experience in an innovative technology company is a plus.
