    Job Description Do you have a passion for finance and creativity? If yes come join our Strategic Sourcing team as a marketing sourcing analyst! We’re in need of someone who can blend a sourcing discipline with an appreciation and understanding for marketing strategies that elevate the Twitter brand worldwide! We support amazing projects ranging from compelling outdoor campaigns to innovative market research studies. You're detail oriented, ambitious and are always on the lookout for business and process improvement.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    ​​​​​​SOURCING RELATED

    • Support marketing projects worldwide. Conduct extensive contract reviews and negotiations across all marketing categories ensuring Twitter has secured favorable business terms including cost reduction and process improvements.
    • Help refine a global marketing sourcing category strategy summarizing everything from sub category cost modeling, refining of RFx templates, advocacy of preferred suppliers and emerging marketing trends (e.g. in person vs virtual events).
    • Support sourcing managers in coordinating quarterly business reviews with preferred vendors and audit performance to ensure our internal partners are getting the biggest bang for their marketing buck!
    • Support the execution of spend management projects that accomplish key objectives. Those objectives may include annual savings targets, process effectiveness, supplier consolidation & management, risk reduction & management, improved visibility & control of expenditures
    • Identify objectives from your marketing partners for RFx activities and assist in the development of award scenarios and recommendations for stakeholder evaluation, consideration and decision-making
    • Able to develop presentations for internal stakeholder communications/updates with guidance
    • Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost and process improvements

    • Collaborate as needed with each and every person in the organization in a personable, approachable manner
    • Support internal customers (Marketing/Legal/Finance/Privacy/Security) by facilitating accurate and favorable transactions, and on-going supplier management and accountability to achieve desired results.
    • Collaborate to build best spend management practices and marketing trends
    • Effectively communicate the impact of sourcing decisions to the Marketing team and as appropriate, actively enlist their support
    • Communicate with our Marketing partners, coworkers and management in a clear, concise and timely manner
    • Maintain a high level of ‘Customer Focus’ attitude

    Qualifications WHO YOU ARE:

    • You have a passion for sourcing and contracting proficiency with suppliers: experience in a marketing sourcing role, operations, consulting
    • You understand the pivotal role that marketing plays within an organization and have an appreciation for its creative and strategic value
    • You can translate the business value of a creative idea with rigorous analytics and detail
    • Whether you are signing off on a swag purchase or analyzing proposed rates on a massive media buy, you are bold and believe in influencing outcomes and can recommend change to the project, no matter the size
    • You embrace trafficking high volumes of contracts and can pivot in real time to the bigger ticket strategic conversations that will empower the Twitter brand.
    • You are a team player and are open to extending yourself to support other sourcing categories as needed
    • You recognize that the marketing category is unique and will always redefine itself, you ensure you are up to date on the latest trends and build your category expertise.
    • Your data driven approach drives creative problem solving, proposal preparation, and negotiation
    • You are a people person and can meet the in real time needs of Twitter’s marketing strategy

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2-5 years experience in strategic sourcing with a focus on marketing preferred.
    • Strong Excel and Google Suite skills.
    • Bachelor's degree with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain or analytical focus preferred.
