    THE OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS TEAM IS A NEW AND UNIQUE ROLE. YOU’LL BE A PART OF A SMALL TEAM TASKED WITH DRIVING AND DELIVERING BEST-IN-CLASS CENTRAL SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES. YOU WILL BE THE GLUE THAT HOLDS EVERYTHING TOGETHER. WE WORK HORIZONTALLY WITH ENGINEERING, PRODUCT, DESIGN, AND OPERATIONS AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERALL PLAN, EXECUTION, AND DELIVERY OF CENTRAL PROCESSES OR MAJOR CROSS FUNCTIONAL INITIATIVES. OUR GOAL IS TO ENABLE THE ENTIRE ORGANIZATION TO BENEFIT FROM OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE, INCREASE CONFIDENCE IN THE EXECUTION OF STRATEGY, DRIVE ACCOUNTABILITY, AND IMPROVE COLLABORATION. KEY EXAMPLES OF CENTRAL SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES INCLUDE:

     

    • CENTRAL PROCESSES: COMPANY WIDE PLANNING, INVESTMENT FORECASTING, HEADCOUNT TRACKING

    • CENTRAL SYSTEMS: ROADMAPPING, PROJECT TRACKING, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, OKRS TRACKING

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS EXPERIENCE WORKING CLOSELY WITH A VARIETY OF CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SPECIALISTS AND LEADERS. HAS A HIGH LEVEL OF BUSINESS SENSE, SUPER-HUMAN PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS, THE ABILITY TO WORK COLLABORATIVELY ACROSS TEAMS AND ORGANIZATIONS UNDERGOING LARGE-SCALE CHANGE.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

     

    • SUPPORT LEADERSHIP BY KEEPING THE RHYTHM OF EXECUTION HUMMING AND REMOVING ANY OBSTACLES THAT MAY ARISE ALONG THE WAY.

    • ORCHESTRATE THE OVERALL PLANNING PROCESS FOR ENGINEERING, PRODUCT, DESIGN & RESEARCH (EPDR) TEAMS, INCLUDING PRODUCT ROADMAPS, GOAL SETTING, AND INVESTMENT PLANNING.

    • REPRESENT EXPERIENCE AS KEY LIAISON IN COORDINATING WITH OTHER INTERNAL PLANNING FUNCTIONS (E.G. FINANCE, HR, ETC.).

    • DEVELOP CONTENT AND DRIVE COMMUNICATION ACROSS EPDR AND THE REST OF THE COMPANY, COMMUNICATING REGULAR PRODUCT UPDATES, KEY RESULTS, AND CONSOLIDATING STRATEGIC PLANS FOR REVIEW WITH THE TWITTER EXECUTIVE TEAM AND THE BOARD.

    • LEAD SHORT-TERM DEEP DIVES AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PROJECT TEAMS TO STRUCTURE AND EXECUTE ANALYSES NEEDED TO DEVELOP RECOMMENDATIONS.

    • FUNCTION AS A FRONTLINE BUSINESS PROCESS RESOURCE FOR “BEST PRACTICES” AND INFORMAL CUSTOMER QUESTIONS IN SUPPORT OF TWITTER’S DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND TOOLING STRATEGY

    • BRING KEY INSIGHTS AND TRUSTED INDEPENDENT ADVICE.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA DEGREE

    • 5-7+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS OR TECHNICAL STRATEGY, PLANNING, OPERATIONS AND TRANSFORMATION.

    • A STRONG ANALYTICAL MINDSET, A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF DISTILLING DATA, AND AN ABILITY TO IDENTIFY TRENDS AND PROVIDE BUSINESS INSIGHTS

    • EXCELLENT WRITTEN & ORAL COMMUNICATION AND PRESENTATION SKILLS

    • THRIVES IN AMBIGUITY AND IN DRIVING INFLUENCE AND CLARITY IN HIGHLY MATRIXED ORGANIZATIONS

    • EXPERIENCE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE C-SUITE/VP LEVEL ON A REGULAR BASIS

    • PROVEN ABILITY TO TRACK, PRIORITIZE, AND DRIVE MULTIPLE CONCURRENT PROJECTS TO SUCCESS.

    • EXPERIENCE WORKING IN TECH, PREFERABLY COMPANIES IN-BETWEEN THE START-UP AND ESTABLISHED-COMPANY STAGE

    • PROVEN UNDERSTANDING OF JIRA, ASANA, AND/OR PLANVIEW IS A STRONG PLUS
