    Job Description

    Who You Are:

    We are looking for Events Program Managers with a strong background in events management and deep experience with managing vendors/agencies for both virtual and in-person events. You will help create innovative talent attraction experiences for early career to executive level talent across the globe. You will be responsible for designing and executing events on select campuses/universities, at professional and diversity conferences, on Twitter, and other forums that generate brand awareness, build a quality pipeline, and move candidates through our recruiting funnel. You will enable our cross functional Talent Acquisition and business teams in North America, Europe/Middle East/Africa and Asia to reach Twitter’s hiring goals and programmatic objectives through strategic events. In this blended role, which reports to the Global Events Recruiting Manager, you will act as part sourcer, event planner, and program manager.

    What You’ll Do: 

    • Understand specific client group’s needs for talent. You will use this to drive an event strategy that identifies, attracts, and retains traditional and non-traditional talent. 

    • Able to build a strong passive pipeline of candidates, and create a world class candidate experience.

    • Manage and maintain healthy relationships with external vendors/agencies and internally with Twitter’s Talent Acquisition, business teams, and employees. 

    • Design, build and execute innovative and strategic events that attract and engage early career to executive level talent. 

    • Drive project execution within a matrixed organization by managing partner and stakeholder communications and holding project teams accountable to timelines and deliverables.

    • Develop and execute a detailed plan for delivering small and large scale events including hosting an internal kickoff, overall digital engagement experiences, staffing, video production, sponsorship, logistics, and internal alignment on goals.

    • Manage meetings, project plans, event budgets, debriefs and post-event strategies that yields a strong, quality pipeline.

    • Create a process for fast follow up by/transition to the appropriate recruiting resources across all of TA to turn leads into active candidates moving through the funnel.

    • Lead end-to-end operations for events & design and coordinate the execution of activations for small-size to large events working closely with internal cross-functional teams including Talent Acquisition, I&D, Marketing/Talent Brand, Legal, Communications, Engineering, Design and Research, Sales, as well as external partners, agencies and vendors, etc. 

    • Manage all agency coordination, vendor RFP and management, and budget tracking, ensuring that event logistical items are prepared and approved promptly.

    • Track events results and pipeline/funnel metrics, key learnings and business impacts of events and activations, measuring events success and owning pre- and post-event communications.

    Qualifications:

    • You possess strong time-management skills, critical thinking skills, experience planning / executing recruitment events, strong communication skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus.

    • You have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous events/tasks/projects across various client groups with changing priorities.

    • You have the ability to work collaboratively across all levels and exhibit strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.

    • You possess knowledge of recruiting processes/practices and to articulate career opportunities that generate leads and manage candidate movement in the applicant tracking system.

    • You understand branding and employer value proposition to ensure that Twitter events are on brand and engage passive talent.

    • You have flipped large-scale physical events into virtual experiences or designed and delivered hybrid events (mix of physical and virtual experiences).

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years work experience in university, early career, diversity, industry, or events recruiting, managing a variety of recruiting events and projects.

    • Proven success in delivering highly effective event experiences to technical and non-technical, early career to executive audiences across geographies, languages and time zones in both virtual and physical mediums.

    • Knowledge and effective usage of project management methodologies, processes and tools.

    • Knowledge of Splash event registration tool, Yello, Hopin, and other event and survey tools.

    • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, such as SmartRecruiters, is a plus.

    • Knowledge of the recruiting and workforce environment in EMEA and/or APAC is a plus.

    • Experience planning networking, professional, community building or other social impact events is welcomed.

    • Comfort with managing a broad range of stakeholders through ambiguity.

    • Demonstrated experience of successfully collaborating across organization boundaries.

    • Flexibility for travel 10-20% (post COVID) and to work evening hours and some weekends.
