    Job Description

    WHO YOU ARE

    We are looking for an experienced and impact-oriented Marketing Manager to join the Global Consumer Product Marketing team to help grow the adoption of Twitter products across multiple audiences including publishers, content creators, developers and high impact individuals. 

    A successful candidate has experience working with partner, product, social and integrated marketing teams and knows how to build narratives, presentations and event experiences. He or she must have a deep understanding of the social media landscape and Twitter’s unique position in that ecosystem. 

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    As Head of Audience Marketing for Twitter’s Consumer Product Marketing team, you will set the strategy for the team and oversee the GTM plans for professional customers. You will own the messaging and positioning for all of Twitter’s consumer products for the various audiences that publish content on Twitter. Audiences include publishers (media, news, entertainment, sports), VITs (Very Important Tweeters), developers and brands. You will craft narratives for how all of these audiences can use Twitter to grow their audience and engagement. In this cross-functional role, you will also serve as an internal thought leader and spokesperson representing the full suite of Twitter’s consumer products to an internal audience of Partner and Publisher managers, brand strategists, and sales leaders.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the go-to-market strategy, including core positioning, messaging, and communications strategy for all professional customers for the full suite of Twitter’s Consumer products and have the ability to scale these messages globally

    • Define and create GTM enablement deliverables that educate and inspire

    • Collaborate with the Product Specialist team to establish a customer feedback process

    • Oversee the strategy and growth of three marketing channels including a website, Twitter handle, and newsletter

    • Understand, anticipate and proactively advocate for professional customer product needs as well as the needs of the internal stakeholders who own these customer relationships

    • Lead internal communications, providing monthly product updates to all internal stakeholders

    • Develop and drive product experiences for tentpole event activations such as Cannes, CES, Newfronts, and SXSW

    • Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across our product and sales teams

    • Manage a high performing team of audience and content marketers

    • Understand, anticipate and proactively advocate for professional customer product needs as well as the needs of the internal stakeholders who own these customer relationships

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

    • A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in a B2C/tech environment.

    • Experience partnering closely with product management and marketing teams and working in a matrixed organization

    • Experience working with external partners

    • Experience working closely with product/engineering and sales stakeholders.

    • Outstanding program management with ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously.

    • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking

    • Analytical mind-set and problem solving skills with high attention to detail

    • Working knowledge of the social media landscape

    • Passion for Twitter
