    We are seeking a Strategic Insights Data Analyst to utilize data to solve key business questions, make data accessible to leaders, and consult on how data can be used  to inform business decisions.

     

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Customer Analytics- Perform analysis in support of strategic projects in the sales, marketing, and digital functional areas. Capture analytics requirements from requestors, provide guidance regarding relevance and scope of data, and deliver consumable insights with appropriate context. Analyses and projects include but are not limited to: board presentations, strategic plan analysis, customer and product analysis, market share analysis, competitor analysis, customer segment strategies, and customer wallet benchmarking.
    • Dashboard Development- Develop and distribute dynamic dashboards to support customer, sales, marketing, and digital KPI tracking. Drive data adoption of these tools. Regularly review dashboards and push out proactive insights to stakeholders.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration- Collaborate with IT and Business Intelligence teams to define datasets, establish data governance, produce dashboards, and embed in applications for consumption.
    • Market Resource Identification- Identify and leverage appropriate market data resources to benchmark sales, marketing, and digital performance against market and competitive trends.
    • Driving Data Adoption- Mentor other analysts in the organization and help to market the ability of analytics to increase market penetration.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5 years of analytics experience, preferably in sales and customer insights
    • Successful track record of providing strategic recommendations that move the business forward
    • Data visualization software – PowerBI (preferred), Tableau, or Qlik
    • Excel skills (advanced formulas and pivot tables)
    • Office 365 applications (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
    • Ability to tell a story with data
    • Strong oral and written presentation skills
    • Collaborative approach and ability to work across departments
    • Detail oriented and able to shift priorities quickly to fit the needs of the business
    • Interpersonal and consultative skills
    • Strong business acumen with experience with financial and sales metrics
