We are looking for a Software Test Engineer for Sinclair Digital. As a tester focused on our News Platform, you'll design, implement, and execute functional tests to ensure the quality of future releases. If you're an 'A Player' with a strong customer focus, open source technology experience, and a passion for test development, we want to talk to you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bring Quality Assurance focus and testing skills to the team.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the product.
• Contribute to tools and processes that improve team output and quality.
• Help us become the best team you've ever worked on.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Several years of software industry experience, showing a steady upward career progression in the art of Software Test Engineering.
• Supported test plans at a large scale, dealing with the problems, failures, and bugs that resulted.
• Strong expertise functional testing, tools and technologies.
• Established background performing white box testing
• Experience with testing useable and scalable UI elements that present numerous media elements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for team collaboration.
• Continually learns and grows as an tester.

NICE TO HAVE

• Familiarity with tools we use

1. Jenkins
2. Junit or other unit testing frameworks
3. TestNG
4. Frontend testing frameworks like Selenium

• Experience testing RESTful web-services
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Experience with Docker or other Containerized systems
