    VICE News- Post Production Intern | Fall 2018 at VICE U.S. VICE Brooklyn, NY VICE is the worlds preeminent youth media company and content creation studio. ABOUT THE VICE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM VICE News interns will get a firsthand look into how a leading news organization functions on a day-to-day basis. ABOUT THE ROLE Vice News is looking for motivated production interns to work for Vice on HBO. Interns support a wide variety of tasks in support of our long-form documentary series. Interns will work closely with producers and editors on general organization and scheduling, screening and logging footage and transcription. Interns at VICE News are a valued and critical part of the team. Interns will interact with all aspects of post-production and gain experience with a wide array of skills that translate directly over to journalism, film and international media. Interns will be an active part of the post-production process, from initial edit to episode delivery. Successful applicants should possess a strong interest in post-production (Adobe Premiere is a plus!), demonstrate expertise in documentary storytelling, and have the ability to flourish in a team environment. All interns must have excellent research, writing, editing and organizational skills, and must be comfortable working under hard deadlines. Multi-linguists and those interested in journalism, media, and documentary filmmaking are encouraged to apply. REQUIREMENTS Applicants must meet all of the criteria below to be eligible: Interns must currently be enrolled in a two or four year college/university. All interns must have proper authorization to work in the United States. Interns are non-exempt and will be paid an hourly rate of $15/hour in NY.
