    Winter Graphic Design Internship Looking for Chicago graphic design internships? Walker Sands Communications is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to serve as a graphic design intern for a 12-week winter internship at our Chicago office. WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS! We are looking for someone with some design experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. A typical day involves designing websites, landing pages, calls-to-action, logos, brochures, direct mail pieces, PowerPoint presentations, infographics or letterheads. Our ideal candidate would be an independent thinker and a team player who can contribute ideas and can move a project design from concept to completion quickly. You will be working closely with other designers, content writers, developers, SEO experts and other members of the marketing team to bring cutting-edge marketing programs to life. We are seeking someone who has experience conceptualizing websites for both desktop and mobile platforms, with knowledge of CSS & HTML. You are also aware of current design trends, and always looking to bring an idea to the next level. You will gain experience working with an experienced designer and will hone your skills and understanding of the B2B digital marketing space. Requirements Proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Excellent graphic and web design skills, with a keen ability to translate a design proposal into an effective design. Some level of web development skills. We're not looking for a programmer, but we want a designer with knowledge of HTML and CSS. JavaScript and JQuery is a plus. Mac OSX proficiency. Working toward or have completed a design or design-related degree at an accredited university or college. Internship Details We are looking for full-time candidates who can ideally work up to 40 hours/week. This is a paid, 12-week internship beginning January 21, 2019. All graphic design internship candidate finalists must complete a skills test. Please be sure to include your GPA on your resume.
