    The Job

    We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Coordinator to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing distributors in the Midwest. We are searching for a hands-on coordinator who will increase warehouse efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and be a liaison between our distribution center and corporate office. Your goal will be to help streamline the warehouse process while maintaining a fast moving operation.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Forecast and analyze inventory and effectiveness of the supply chain
    • Handle shipping and receiving with great accuracy
    • cross train with other departments
    • Process and transmit paperwork and forms to and from the administrative office
    • Communicate with the administrative on freight quotes, parts requests, and stock checks
    • Receive and process returns, photograph freight damage, and process required paperwork
    • Arrange the return pick up of the container and document the unloading and return process
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the immediate work area and warehouse
    • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
    • Help in leading safety and quality standards through committee involvement
    • Fill in and support other positions to ensure warehouse is running at full capacity

    • Identifying quantifiable characteristics - estimate sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, and/or materials needed to perform a work activity

    • Inspecting for compliance with standards - Use best judgment and industry expertise to determine whether events, processes, equipment, or products not only comply with laws and regulations but also are free of problems or defects
