Department Description: The A&R Department operates as the primary source of talent scouting and record making within Atlantic Records. It is A&R that allows us to locate and sign new talent and continue making records for currently signed artists. High Level Job Description: To assist two senior A&R executives fulfill their duties at Atlantic Records on a daily basis and coordinate A&R processes. Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities: * Provide all levels of support including, but not limited to phones, meeting schedules, expense reports, travel, and booking studios. * Provide additional support as needed to the other members of the A&R staff * Coordinate A&R efforts such as: * Travel for artists, management, songwriters, and producers. * Working with mixing and mastering engineers, studio managers to schedule recording as well as obtain music, protools sessions, and masters. * Working with A&R administration to invoice and PO projects within budget and in a timely manner. * Assist in researching new artists and producers as well as helping to manage demos that are submitted to A&R department. * Act as liaison between all departments (publicity, sales, marketing, legal, etc) within Atlantic records and the artist, management, and attorneys. Required Competencies/Skills: * Must be able to handle high volumes of phone calls, mail and requests. * Must be able to multi task and balance administrative * Able to manage heavbuild and maintain relationships with other professionals in the industry. Special Requirements/Preferences: * Bachelors Degree (preferred, but not required) * Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
