The HR Summer intern will primarily support the Recruiting team but will also receive broad exposure to various functions across Human Resources, and may incorporate experiences in core HR areas such as: Compensation and Benefits, Organization Development and Training, Diversity, and Employee Relations. As an HR intern, you will provide support to various members of the HR team. You will be an active member of the team and will be responsible for a variety of projects designed to be completed and delivered throughout the internship. These projects are intended to provide you with operational experience as well as an overview in the Recruiting function. You also may be exposed to any of the following: - Scheduling Interviews - On-Boarding of new Employees - Sourcing - Applicant Tracking System Administration - OFCCP Compliance - Compensation - Other Human Resources related areas as needed Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include: Projects requiring research analysis, Recruiting Metrics and Reporting, Process Documenting. Assist the HR Department with other projects as assigned. - Job Qualifications - Must be attending a 4 year accredited College or University toward an undergraduate degree in business, marketing or related field - Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher - Attention to detail is a key success factor - Prior experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and/or Powerpoint is preferrred - Preferably will have completed 2 years equivalent coursework - No housing provided so must have accommodations within commuting distance to NYC offices
